Account & signing in

Personal data in Sutraya — saved texts, quotes, sheets, reading history, AI drafts, and Ask conversations — is always scoped to a user.

  1. Open the account control in the left nav (labeled Account when signed out).
  2. Choose Sign in, or create an account from the sign-up page.
  3. Use Forgot password if you need a reset link; verify your email when prompted.

Once signed in, open Account from the app routes (/account) for an overview of your personal library, and options to export or delete data where available.

Depending on operator Usage settings:

  • Anonymous visitors may use Ask, Translate, and OCR with daily/weekly limits — or those tools may require sign-in.
  • Saved items, sheets, history, and translation drafts always belong to a user identity (or the single Local Reader in local mode).

Your reading activity and library content are not shared as public profile data. Corpus texts come from third-party sources with their own licenses — see Sources and the in-app Privacy page.
