Read a text
Section titled “Read a text”The reader is where root text, translation, and tools stay aligned.
Open the reader
Section titled “Open the reader”- Find a work via Search or Library.
- On the work page, choose Read (primary witness) or another available witness.
- The URL looks like
/read/[witnessId]. Passage anchors use#p-…when jumping to a number label.
Navigate
Section titled “Navigate”- Scroll the main column; division / section structure follows the source where available.
- Use in-page search to jump within a long work.
- Theme toggle and keyboard helpers live in the shell; locale options may be marked soon depending on build.
Layers
Section titled “Layers”Many witnesses store original (root) and translation layers on the same passage positions so lines stay aligned — for example Pāli roots with Sujato English on SuttaCentral imports.
Open the resources drawer for Parallels, Translations, About, Cite, Dictionary, Ask, and Share.

Selection actions
