Cite passages

Sutraya gives you stable references that survive re-imports better than internal UUIDs alone.

  1. Open the resources drawer → Cite (or use share/cite controls on the passage).
  2. Copy the human-readable citation and/or the URN.
  3. Paste into notes, papers, or agent prompts.

Deep links can include a passage anchor (#p-…) so collaborators open the same place.

sutraya:<scheme>/<workRef>[:<position>][#<anchor>]

Examples:

URN Meaning
sutraya:sc/mn10 Whole discourse (SuttaCentral)
sutraya:sc/mn10:4 Passage position 4
sutraya:sc/sn12.2:4 Upstream ids may contain dots
sutraya:84000/toh113:2 84000 work
sutraya:work/dhp1-20 Fallback by internal work slug

Schemes include sc, cbeta, 84000, gretil, and work. The position separator is : so SuttaCentral uids that already contain dots stay unambiguous.
